So there are lots of different views on God and science and stuff! so melissa whats your view and dont you fins that in RE classes people can be REALLY disrespectful to others beliefs you know?
Exactly. You feel like if you say what YOU believe your going to be shunned and instantly disrespected so sometimes you even deny your belief just so you dont get the confrontation of the whole class against you? you know?
Yeah sometimes I feel that the teacher will be like :O. When we learnt about the 'creation story' the teacher was like obviously science has advanced from this so the creation story can't really be true, and perhaps someone still believes in the creation story...
Yeah I get what you mean, sometimes in RE it is difficult to have your own opinion as to others it sounds stupid - when to yourself it makes sense :/
